Our collection centres
The first collection centre for the ABCTB was founded at Westmead with the first donor being recruited in 2006. Six other collection centres in NSW were subsequently established to recruit donors to the bank and collect and process specimens and data. Information common to all the NSW centres is included in the ‘Breast Cancer Tissue Bank – Information for prospective donors’ pamphlet. Three of the original collection centres in NSW are currently continuing recruitment and collection, with four currently inactive. The NSW sites involved are based at:

The ABCTB also has a collection centre in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), and affiliate sites in Western Australia (WA) and Queensland (QLD) which are all currently recruiting donors.
